Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Commonwealth Bank
“There are lots of highly qualified, talented and skilled people out there with a disability, just waiting for an opportunity”
Diagnosed with Goldman Faher Syndrome, which would later lead to blindness, Donna is passionate about creating opportunities for people with a disability, and a society that advocates equal access to education and employment.
Donna is currently Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Commonwealth Bank, where she sets strategic direction for mentoring programs across human rights sectors. In applying for her current role with the bank, Donna was apprehensive about the selection process. She was later surprised by their attention to equity and fairness in separating her disability from her work potential.
Donna has been an ambassador for the NSW Government Don’t Dis My Ability campaign for two years.
