Macular Degeneration Community Research Update and Information Session

Macular degeneration refers to a group of degenerative diseases of the retina that cause progressive and painless lost of central vision. Around 10% of Australian’s will develop macular degeneration in their lifetime.
There is currently no cure for macular degeneration.
Researchers at Save Sight Institute are working hard to find better ways of treating macular degeneration and ultimately to preserve vision for those people affected.
